Bamboo fiber is made from bamboo and is biodegradable. It has naturally anti-bacterial properties and good absorbance. Due to these natural properties, the bamboo cloth is very widely accepted in making garments. Moreover it is very soft and has rich lustier similar to silk. Bamboo fiber is biodegradable textile material. It can be 10% biodegraded in soil by microorganisms and sunshine. The decomposition process doesn't cause any pollution to environment.
Bamboo fiber has natural functions of anti-bacteria and deodorization. Even after fifty washes, bamboo fiber possesses excellent function of anti-bacteria. This natural anti-bacteria function of bamboo fiber doesn't cause any skin allergy.
Bamboo fiber is filled with various micro-gaps and micro holes, it has much better moisture absorption and ventilation. With this unparalleled microstructure, bamboo fiber apparel can absorb and evaporate humans sweat in seconds.
Bamboo fiber have soft feel, easiness to straighten & dye and splendid colour effect of pigmentation. They are also very friendly to skin and does not cause any irritation like those with chemical additives. It is also a new environmentally friendly raw material that enjoys a splendid prospect of application. Thus, it can be easily applied in manufacturing of underclothes, T-shirts, socks etc. Meanwhile cloth made of mixed texture of bamboo fiber, cotton, ramie, nylon, polyester, or other raw materials also have the same superior properties.
